Aesthestic design is as important as functionality. A combination of carefully selected materials in a compact design makes our products easy and pleasant to use.
Intuitive functionality is an important part of our design process.
Intelligent, automatic detection of new tablets, analysis and data integration.
The Pouch Inspector is a stand-alone inspection machine that scans the packaged pouches, verifies the content of the pouches with the ordered medication and customer details and documents the results for further reference.
A roll of pouch strips is placed on the Pouch Inspector. It will instant scan at a speed of 3-5 pouches per second (180-300 pouches per minute). No need to push a button, just swipe it through the machine.
The content of each pouch is automatically compared with the prescribed medication and customer details and the results are stored in the database for processing and documentation.
Unknown tablets are marked and automatically integrated into the analysis without process interruption. The inspection status of each pouch is immediately displayed on the screen. The results of an order can either be displayed on the touchscreen or at a separate PC and the pouches are accordingly manually checked and corrected before the order is approved for dispatch.
Our machines are developed with our expertise in creating optimal workflows. We have extensively field-tested various workflows and determined which workflows are most effective.
There is an optimal machine setup for every organization that suits the capacity and size of the company.

![]() Rolls inspected pouches back onto a spool. This combination rolls the pouches, after inspection, back onto a spool. The benefit is that the inspected pouches are neatly stored and can easily be brought to the repair desk. | ![]() Pouches are dropped as string in a container. In combination with the Pi Transport, the pouches are transported through the Pouch Inspector and drops a string of pouches in a container besides the table. No need to unwind a spool to find the pouch for repair. | ![]() Automatically processes and sorts Pouches.Cut&Roll selects, cuts and separates pouch strips automatically. Selecting criteria can be set as desired. Pouches are rolled neatly and separated into a ‘alarm’ or ‘alarm-free’ container. The ‘alarm-free’ rolls are immediately ready for dispatch. | |

The Pouch Inspector comes standard with our web application Pi Web. It can be controlled using the touchscreen of the Pouch Inspector, but also from any PC or tablet in the network.
After the Pouch Inspector carries out the inspection, the results can be verified, validated and archived in a very intuitive manner.
Pi Web operates based on a To-Do list. Validated batches are placed on the list to finalize. Missing, surplus, damaged and incorrect medication are shown per batch, per patient and per pouch. And any batches with alarms can be immediately corrected and validated.
The web application, Pi Web, can be installed on any PC in the network and also on a separate tablet. This makes it even easier and faster to control everything from different locations.
